PANINDEX Panindex: are the publishers of specialised software for the creation and management of directories. Area of activity: both structured professional information as well as unstructured information in electronic distribution form. Clients: publishers of information (groups of press, publishers of directory, producers of data ...) and professional users of the information (researchers, commercial, human resources..), enterprises, organizations, associations. Mission: - to open up the management of directories (public, personnel or private), to federate the access to directories by a common graphic interface and via a systematic approach. Functionality Multiple directories can form a distributed system hierarchical by country (France, Canada,…), by themes (sectors of activities,…), by geographical zones, (regions, cities,…) etc. The functional architecture of Panindex addresses the specific needs of suppliers of directories : To produce a directory and to manage clients " users " and " enterprises ". To publish a directory on the Internet, Intranet, or Extranet and on CD/DVD. To promote a directory in the referenced in the “méta -directory” (the central PANINDEX directory of directories of the system). Suppliers have the possibility to publish their directories via a web interface Or via a specialised directory navigator designed specifically for the creation, consultation and the exploitation of directories. |
